A Member of the National Association of Round Tables of Great Britain & Ireland

Welcome to Winchester Round Table 63

Round Table is all about fun, friendship and trying something new and exciting. It helps you grow as an individual and as a team player from our various activities such as sports, pub socials, organising the Winchester fireworks event to raise money for local charities and attending family social events.

Round Table is a participation organisation and the old saying applies strongly "You get out what you put in". You can develop yourself whilst having fun along the way.

Hard Of Hearing Drive, Tuesday 3rd May 2011

Our New Community Service Officer Conner Gately organised our 5th Annual Hard of Hearing Drive for the HOH Winchester Branch.
The 25 members were taken for a drive through the countryside on a sunny spring evening before ending up at the Cart & Horses, Kings Worthy, for dinner

The evening also gave WRT members the chance to vote and elect their vice chair for 2011-2012. Toby Randle and John Leeson stood against each other with Toby Randle being elected Vice Chair after a secret ballot.
For photos of the evening check out our photos page.

WRT63 Annual General Meeting 2010-2011, Thursday 21st April 2011

This year’s AGM was held at The Bengal Sage in Winchester and our thanks go out to Miff and his team for the fantastic food and hospitality. WRT would recommend The Bengal Sage to anyone who is looking for great Indian cuisine in Winchester http://www.thebengalsage.co.uk/

Our thanks to Tom Dierckx the outgoing chairman for a great year in which WRT held the Euro meeting with a banquet in the Great Hall and one where we had our most successful bonfire to date, organised by Toby Randle as Bonfire Chairman. We now welcome Steve Lewis the new Chair for 2011-2012. All positions have now been filled on The Chairman’s Council and a list of members and their current positions can be found on our member’s page.

We now look ahead to a busy and fun packed year under Steve’s leadership, keep an eye on the website calendar for upcoming events and don’t forget to try and bring as many new members along as you can so that WRT can continue to thrive.
